Dear Stritch Alum:
I want to thank you for attending the 2009 Stritch Reunion Weekend: Celebrating 100 Years of Medicine at Loyola. I hope the weekend brought back many fond memories and you reconnected with old friends.
As my first reunion as Dean, I was struck by the enthusiasm I felt for your alma mater throughout the weekend. Through out its 100 years, Stritch has remained true to its mission. Stritch is a remarkable place. I was particularly impressed with the outpouring of support for Terri Wronski and her much deserved Outstanding Service Award. In addition, the Alumni of the Year Awards were a testament to the quality of education offered at Stritch.
A total of 478 guests attended events throughout the weekend, 274 of whom were alumni representing 55 class years reaching back to 1943. While we were pleased with the initial feedback we received at the events, we are hoping to plan even better reunions in the future. Please complete the survey by clicking here. Your input is important to us.
I thank you in advance for your time. I hope you enjoyed the weekend as much as we enjoyed meeting you. Have a safe and joyous holiday season.
Sincerely,
Richard L Gamelli, MD, FACS
Dean, Stritch School of Medicine
