CAS Alumni Career and Volunteer Interests Survey

Tis' the season to be jolly! Join Frank Fennell, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, for a special alumni reception before the concert. Ensembles performing: Orchestra, Jazz Band, Chamber Choir, Wind Ensemble, and University Chorus.

NEWS FROM THE COLLEGE

The College of Arts & Sciences offers BA or BS in 58 different majors including 14 distinct dual degree and five year programs that allow students to pair their BS or BA with graduate degrees in business, education, criminal justice, mathematics, social work and more.

  • Loyola has a longstanding tradition of preparing students for excellence in the medicial sciences. 70-80% of students recommended by the pre-health advisory committee gain acceptance to medical schools. The national average is around 45%.
  • The recipients of the 2009 Edwin T. and Vivijeanne F. Sujack Awards for Teaching Excellence are Harveen Mann, Associate Professor, English and George K. Thiruvathukal, Associate Professor, Computer Science. To view a list of previous recipients, click here.
