Victory over Bradley marks inaugural Arch Madness
On March 6, over 300 Loyola alumni and students converged on St. Louis for Loyola’s inaugural performance at Arch Madness, the Missouri Valley Conference men’s basketball championship tournament. In their opening-round match-up against Bradley, the lower-rated Ramblers emerged victorious 74–72, after freshman Milton Doyle sunk a buzzer-beating three-pointer.

It marked Loyola's first postseason win since March 2008, bringing the Ramblers’ first game in the Missouri Valley Conference to a thrilling conclusion.
The Ramblers trailed second-seeded Indiana State at halftime by only four points during the quarterfinals, but they fell in the second half for a final score of 62–75. Loyola's season ended with a memorable opening game in a storied tournament where we look forward to watching the Ramblers compete for years to come.
