Career Services Overview

About our services

The office of Alumni Relations supports our alumni at all career levels, including those going through career transitions, with a wide range of quality programming. Whether looking for exclusive job search resources or looking to explore professional development strategies, we offer year-round programming to fulfill your needs.

Career Search

Although we do not offer job placement services, alumni have the opportunity to search and apply to jobs posted to Loyola’s job board RamblerLink, as well as through Loyola’s Alumni LinkedIn group. Jobs are added weekly and are posted by employers that are specifically seeking Loyola alumni. Loyola’s partnership with the Career Transitions Center of Chicago (CTC), offers alumni discounted career coaching and valuable career search resources.

Quarterly Alumni Networking Nights

Face-to-face networking is a key component to building a professional network and searching for a career. Our Quarterly Alumni Networking Nights support these efforts with unique alumni speakers, alongside a networking reception.

Lunch, Network & Learn

Scheduled 2 – 3 times a year during the lunch hour, this professional development program focuses on job performance improvement, job search strategies, and personal branding. Alumni are encouraged to bring their own lunch to this complimentary program offering.

To reach alumni across the U.S. and those not able to commute to campus, we provide complimentary webinars focused on career trends and continuing professional development. Offered 2-3 times a year, alumni may participate live from their computer or listen to our recent webinar offerings on our Career Event Archives page.

Jesuit Career Consortium

Alumni can tap into career resources and professional associations supported by the Jesuit Career Consortium, a partnership between all 28 Jesuit university and college career centers. Contact Casey Allison for more information on how to access reciprocity services.
