« Back Header Content Phoenix Rambler Club: Fast Class Lecture - What Can the Skies Tell Us? Since the dawn of humanity, people have looked to the skies in search of answers to the big questions: What's out there? Is there an infinite being? How am I a part of all this? Centuries of scientific discovery have answered parts of these questions, but raised many more. We are now learning that humans are composed of the remains of exploded stars, that the universe is expanding at an accelerating rate, and that, yes, one day there will be an end to life on Earth. Join John Cunningham, S.J., physicist, cosmologist, and Jesuit, for a thoughtful discussion on how what we've learned about the universe and its remaining mysteries informs our relationship with God.
